Celebrating Refugee Triumphs

Triumphant! International’s mission is to open a safe space for refugees to be proud of who they are, both as individuals and as members of Australian society. We aim to create a world where refugees identify themselves as people who are powerful in the face of challenging circumstances, rather than as victims of those circumstances. We strive to connect refugees through community projects from which they can share their stories with each other, and throughout Australia.

We partner with refugee community groups and other organisations through our activities. Our current projects include Australia’s first refugee film festival, film workshops for refugees and a book of refugee stories. What else we may do however, is only limited by the imagination and commitment of our volunteers.
